BEET was founded in 1979, with three students! Since then, the school has grown in size and reputation. Many students comment on the "family" atmosphere of BEET. We believe that a friendly, international environment is essential to good learning and an enjoyable, productive time in England. Over the years, we have welcomed students from over 70 countries worldwide. Importantly, we remain an independent school. We are not part of a large group of schools.
BEET is currently the only Bournemouth school to have been invited into membership of Quality English, the organisation of Britain's leading independent language schools. BEET is accredited by the British Council and a member of ARELS, the Association of Recognised English Language Services. We are also members of Quality English, The International Education Forum and RELSA in Wessex. In 2001, BEET bought ITTC, the International Teaching and Training Centre, which now operates on campus in Nortoft Road.
