Bournemouth is situated on the south coast of England two hours away from London. With a population around 150,000, the town provides all of the facilities of a big city, including most of the high street brands.

Bournemouth has some of the UK best beaches with great views Purbeck Hills and the famous Old Harry Rock. You can also enjoy a meal or drink with a fantastic seaviews at one of the cafes along the seafront.


In the town gardens next to the beach, you can take a flight on the Bournemouth Eye (see picture), where you where you'll experience amazing panoramic views over the English Channel and surrounding countryside, for up to 20 miles (35 km).

As a traditional victorian beach resort, Bournemouth boasts 2 piers. The main pier features a theater, bar and restaurant as well as a small children fun fair. Next to the pier you will find the Bournemouth Oceanarium, a great attraction to keep the kids busy on a rainy day.

If you are more of a culture fan, the Russell Cotes Art Gallery and Museum has a vast collection of artifacts and paintings. The building by itself, one of the last Victorian villas in Bournemouth located on the dramatic cliff top with stunning sea view, is worth a visit. Admission is FREE.

Bournemouth offers a wide range of shops, over a compact, car-free area with abundance of coffee shops, cafes and restaurants to make the shopping experience complete. Further away from town, the Castlepoint shopping center is home to a large range of shops, department stores and retail outlets

In the evening, the town comes alive with bars, nightclubs, restaurants and concerts, and the destination has become a great destination for clubbers as well as stag/hen parties.
